Description
On 9 July 2020, Royal Mail issued a set of stamps celebrating one of the UK’s greatest music legends on the 50th anniversary of the band’s formation. Queen have more than three decades of hits to their name, so it is no surprise that there is a Queen song for everyone. Remarkably, more time has now passed since their iconic frontman Freddie Mercury sadly died than the band spent with him, yet Queen remain as popular as ever.
This attractive pair of covers each features 5 stamps and labels from the Queen Album Cover Collectors Sheet. The sheet contains 10 different images of the band adjacent to the stamps. For each cover, 5 stamps and their adjacent images have been taken from the sheet and paired with the Wembley & Rockfield, Monmouth postmarks (9 July 2020).
