Description
Traditional carved wooden cuckoo clock that only needs to be wound once a week.
The cuckoo calls once every half-hour and sounds the corresponding number of calls on each full hour. The shingled roof consists of hundreds of small wooden plates, cut and glued by hand.
Mechanical movement with a sound shut-off lever. The dial, hands and even the bird are carved from wood.
Every hour, the lady pulls the rope to ring the bell on the roof.
To wind the clock every 8 days, simply pull the chains to raise the two weights.
