Wood Sawyer cuckoo clock

Traditional cuckoo clock in carved wood. The roof is covered with wooden shingles. Several dozen small wooden plates are cut and glued by hand!

This cuckoo clock calls once every half hour and calls the corresponding number of hours on every full hour. The woodcutter saws a piece of wood while the cuckoo sings.

Mechanical movement with a lever to stop the chime. The dial, hands and even the bird are carved from wood.

To wind the clock each day, simply pull the chains to raise the two weights.
