Description
A quartz cuckoo clock is manufactured and decorated in the same way as a mechanical model; only the movement differs.
The wooden case is handcrafted, usually from linden wood. The bird, small door and hands are made of plastic. The movement runs on 3 type C batteries (LR14).
The cuckoo calls every hour (for example, at 09:00 it calls 9 times, followed by an echo, a gentle river sound in the background and then music). An electronic night sensor automatically silences the call and music. The volume is adjustable, and a simple switch on the side turns off the cuckoo and/or the music.
The pendulum swings continuously from right to left. The weights are decorative and do not need to be wound.
Dimensions without the weights and pendulum: 40 cm (15.7 inches) high and 28 cm (11 inches) wide.
Supplied with instructions in several languages.
Included: 3 type C batteries (LR14) (CHF 11.85)
