Description
A quartz cuckoo clock is made and decorated in the same way as a mechanical cuckoo clock, except for the movement.
It is handmade from wood, usually linden. The bird, small door and hands are made of plastic. The movement operates with 2 type C batteries (LR14).
The cuckoo sings every hour (for example, at 09h00 it calls 9 times, followed by an echo and the gentle sound of a river in the background). The sound stops automatically thanks to an electronic night sensor. The volume can be adjusted and the cuckoo switched off using a simple switch on the side.
The pendulum swings continuously from right to left. The weights are decorative and do not need to be wound.
Size: 21,5 cm, 8,5 inches high and 25 cm, 9,8 inches wide (without the weights and pendulum)
Supplied with instructions in several languages.
